Deputy PM says Russia to start making Ka-226T for India in ‘21
ULAN-UDE, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Assembly of multi-purpose Kamov Ka-226T helicopters will start in Ulan-Ude from 2021 under an agreement with India, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said on Tuesday at a meeting on the plant.
“Production of 200 helicopters starting from 2021 is envisaged by a Russian-Indian intergovernmental agreement,” Borisov said.
Under the deal, Russia will produce 60 helicopters and India 140.
